Requirements:

Senior Consultant
Requirements:
Provide training and consulting services to Council clients in line with established
performance guidelines. Manage assigned consulting projects to ensure all project
goals are achieved within established timeline and within budget and to ensure project
technical and quality standards. Monitor significant trends in safety technology
and implementing technologies that will affect the occupational business segment.
Serve as OSH content guardian and ensures continuity in content across all assigned
services and products supporting key competitive advantages of OSH safety management
systems philosophy. Assist in the development, education and training of staff and
associate consultants on products and services. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
College degree in safety management and business management. Have or will achieve
professional certification (CSP) within the first year. Minimum of ten years occupational
safety and health management experience with demonstrated experience in delivering
training and technical services including audits to management, supervisors and
employees. Experience in dealing effectively with management, labor and employees
are required. Proven safety management skills and understanding of how to develop,
plan and implement a safety management process within an organization is necessary.
Excellent platform, public speaking skills is required. Excellent oral, written

Chapter Services Associate
Requirements:
Position requires a minimum of 5 years working in an administration environment.
Strong Internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint computer skills required. Access skills
preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills necessary for compiling
and writing correspondences and web communications. Previous experience with customer
relations, sales, marketing and an analytical background preferred. BA or equivalent

Responsibilities:
Primary liaison for communication between Chapters and NSC staff. Identifies, develops
and executes communications to Chapter Network. Coordinates logistical aspects of
2 Chapter meetings per year and other ad-hoc meetings as assigned. Works closely
with Website Communications, Membership, Business Units, Communications, Research
& Statistics to optimize outreach and participation of Chapters in NSC activities.
Represents Chapter Services as needed at internal NSC activities and appropriate

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Administration or equivalent. Master’s degree

Account Payable Clerk
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent; college and business school courses in accounting.
Ability to operate calculator with proficiency; accuracy in working with figures
and details; general typing skills. Knowledge of personal computer is helpful. Effective
verbal and written communication skill. Two years as an accounts payable clerk preferred.
Responsibilities:
Receive and match invoices with receiving document; verify totals and approvals;
prepare vouchers for payment. Contact management personnel for approval of invoices
as required. Prepare journal entry forms to accrue unpaid invoices at month end.
Receive phone calls from vendors and answers routine questions regarding payment
of invoices. Assist with other general accounting clerical tasks as directed. Annually
prepare forms for 1099. Perform other duties as assigned.

Program Manager
Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in safety or health education,
science, public policy, risk management, information management, business administration,
communications, or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Five to seven
years professional experience in grant and/or other project management and delivery.
Successful experience in grant and/or other program management and implementation
related to safety and health programs and initiatives. Training and community outreach
and organizing preferred. Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and report
findings and recommendations. Broad knowledge of the principles and practices of
grant administration and project management. Excellent written and oral communication
skills and the ability to interact effectively with NSC managers, agency representatives,
and others. Computer literate. Ability to organize work schedules under deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Manage program activities associated with specific NSC and other grant funded initiatives
to ensure that objectives are accomplished within prescribed time lines and budgets.
This includes assessing resource needs, developing and overseeing budgets and expenses,

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Management is required. Advanced
degree preferred. 10 years of progressive experience managing functions, information
systems and work flow. 5 years of experience managing a comparable technology operation.
Must demonstrate technical competence in communications and information management

Meter Machine Operator
Requirements:
1 to 2 years in shipping experience. High School grad or GED. Operate and maintain
postage and UPS meters, strapping machine, power jack and fork lift. Good math skills.
Ability to work with figures. Great attention to detail. Must be able to lift 60
pounds.
Responsibilities:
Determine best method of shipment for materials. Operate UPS and postage meters
to charge shipment cost. Weigh materials and verify weight and address for accuracy.
Apply all meter receipts on invoice for proper billing. Maintain safe and good housekeeping
standards. Cross train in all areas of the shipping department. Perform other duties

Inventory Clerk
Responsibilities:
Accountable for the proper, timely, and efficient building of specially packaged
promotional and saleable kits. Maintain accurate records of all inventory held within
and outside the current system. Verify inventory levels against actual physical
inventory checks (counts) periodically. Manually prepare stock control notices at
the designated reorder point or by request. Forward stock control notice to the
appropriate person in a timely manner.
Requirements:
High school graduate. One year of previous inventory experience and responsibility.
Must have working knowledge of computer system, subsystems of inventory, order entry,
receiving and the work processing library. Know the receiving function and location
system to provide support and backup. Great attention to detail. Must be able to
lift 60 pounds. PC literate, excellent communication and listening skills, well
organized, good math aptitude, record keeping ability, accuracy with working with
figures and details. Must be flexible to ever-changing environment and able to work

Bindery Coordinator
Requirements:
1-2 years working with Digital Printer or Bindery equipment. High School or GED
required. Computer knowledge of windows based applications, such as Acrobat and
MS Office. Great attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Responsible for the operations of all Bindery equipment: Paper Cutter, folder, and
collator. Assist the Digital Print Technician with all his job responsibilities.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Journalism, Psychology, Social sciences, Business, Science or
other related field. Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, familiarity with
Access is a plus. Must possess strong writing ability, including editing capability

Assist in completion of important Research & Statistical services projects,

International Account Coordinator

Requirements:
College degree with three plus years of experience in an administrative/customer
service role. Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred. Knowledge of NSC and
its products and services is helpful. Other necessary skills include: strong interpersonal,
oral and written communication, and organizational skills; attention to detail and
ability to prioritize and negotiate; the ability to deal effectively under stressful
customer service pressures and remains calm and effective with tight deadlines and

Responsibilities:
Acts as a liaison to facilitate effective interactions between (1) the International
Safety Council and the network of global distributors of NSC’s products and services
(2) NSC’s business units and (3) NSC support units. Responsible for coordinating
day-to-day activities required to ensure the timely and accurate ordering and shipping
of materials to global ISC distributors. Responds to questions and problems from
global distributors, NSC business units and NSC support units. Coordinates with
the appropriate internal NSC groups and individuals to ensure that timely and accurate

E-Commerce Webmaster

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science with a minimum of 2 years experience

Experience in developing website linking relationships (including technological
capabilities and the ability to track effectiveness of the link through website
tracking software) is also needed. Database conceptualization and/or design are
a plus. This position requires hands-on knowledge of CSS/HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator,
Dreamweaver, Quark, Windows Media Encoder, WS-FTP. Familiarity with other tools
such as Adobe Encore, Acrobat Distiller, JavaScript and ASP, plus general knowledge

Responsibilities:
Coordinate the day-to-day development and maintenance of our websites, which includes
providing access to electronic resources, coordinating content and graphics and
maintaining site organization and structure. Develop webpage designs, defines scope
of the project including some server side programming. Work closely with E-commerce
team regarding testing and deployment of emails and interactive projects. Monitor
and report on public and members-only website traffic. Manage content display activities
to complement Council-wide activities as appropriate. Manage website content and
linking activities to help increase traffic. Identifies inconsistencies and assures
uniformity in style and other elements that may impact integrity of NSC information.
Respond to and field customer inquiries via email. Responsible for maintenance of

E-Commerce Marketing Specialist
Marketing
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other relevant field with a minimum of 3-5 years
experience in a marketing environment developing online marketing email campaigns
for corporate web site for diverse markets. Other skills needed include strong project
management and analytical skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and
excellent writing & editing skills. Excellent computer skills in MS Office products
are also needed.
Responsibilities:
Act as a project manager of all e-commerce promotional projects and select website
projects. Manage the production and deployment schedule/calendar of web and email
campaigns at each step from concept to delivery coordinating as necessary with all
vested parties to ensure that each project is on strategy, on time and within budget.
Develop online tactical plans to meet strategic objectives. Develop and manage email
projects and their performance - establishing goals for each campaign to ensure
optimal performance. Make recommendations for cross sell items and link additions
to web pages. Work to ensure high quality, typo-free, consistently styled content.
Review and proofreads all web copy and email copy for grammar, correct links, branding,
etc. Define, develop and adhere to a site style, guide and content rules to provide
a consistent voice, tone and style of content. Monitor, measure, track and report
all online initiatives and performance. Support integrated marketing and ensures
consistency of web marketing, brand and offline marketing initiatives. Develop online
offers and promotions – measure effectiveness and make recommendations on improving
