SDP Self-Directed Study Program
The self-study format allows participants to complete the program in small segments,
permitting the development of new skills without taking large chunks of time away
from the workplace. With the self-study format you have the ultimate in
flexibility. The Program includes two key components, the individual Workbooks and
the Participant Packet. The Participant Packet includes the registration card along
with the necessary answer sheets and mailing envelopes for completing module exams
and case studies. Each Workbook (one per module) includes:
- Interactive exercises that require the participant to fill in information as they
go through the module
- An optional learning activity
- A 25-question exam (15 true/false, 10 multiple choice)
- A case study
Participants must achieve a score of 80% on the written exam and a passing score
on the case study to successfully complete each module. Tests can be completed on
paper and mailed in. Average time to complete each module is two to three hours,
but will vary with each individual.
