The award recognizes the impact our partners have had on safety in their communities.

June 14, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. –A few months ago, the National Safety Council recognized three honorees in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with the 2023 NSC Advocacy in Safety Award. This prestigious award recognizes the impact our partners have had on safety in their communities and serves as a “thank you” for their collaborative efforts to achieve shared workplace and roadway safety goals. This week, NSC is proud to have presented the final 2023 NSC Advocacy in Safety Award in Illinois to State Senator Seth Lewis.

A vocal advocate in Springfield, Senator Lewis is always looking for ways to advance safety. He has sponsored numerous resolutions that promote safety, all with the goal of keeping people in Illinois safe on the roads and at work.

NSC is proud to partner with each of the 2023 honorees and looks forward to continued collaboration to improve safety outcomes and save lives across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Illinois and the nation.
